Main Collection

The Mt. Zion District Library fiction collection strengths include mystery, suspense, romance, and Christian.  Most of these genres are available in large print and/or audiobook also.

The non-fiction strengths include entrepreneurial, local history, crafts, and biographies.  These may also be available in large print and/or audiobook.

The library has several non-print formats including, dvds, videocassettes, and musical cd's.

Children's Collection

The Mt. Zion District Library children's fiction collection strengths include picture books, sports, historical, and Accelerated Reader books.  Non-fiction strengths include books about the states, history, and science. 

The library also has dvds and videocassettes for children.

Local History Collection

The Mt. Zion District Library's local history collection contains Mt. Zion High School Yearbooks, the Mt. Zion Region News newspaper (1976-current), A History of Macon County, and A History of the Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church in the USA from April 1830 to April 1964.

There are other titles in this special collection named in honor of Nick Calamello (a long time board member and distinguished community member).
